PUC Approves POR Discount Rate For New Program, Orders Program Start Date

The New Hampshire PUC has approved the initial purchase of receivables (POR) discount rate at Granite State Electric (Liberty Utilities)
The PUC approved at GSE an initial POR discount of 1.439%, with all customer classes having the same discount in the first year of POR. Separate residential and non-residential POR discounts will be calculated after the initial year of POR
The initial discount rate of 1.439% will remain in effect through July 31, 2026
Approval of the initial discount rate allows POR to commence at GSE on June 5, 2025, and the PUC specifically ordered that GSE shall implement the POR program by June 5, 2025
