Energy Transfer Confirms Acquisition Of Texas Retail Provider

Energy Transfer LP's 2024 purchase of WTG Midstream Holdings LLC included the acquisition of Texas retail electric provider Low Country Power LLC, Low Country Power confirmed in a regulatory filing today
Low Country Power is now owned by Energy Transfer
WTG Midstream Holdings LLC had, prior to the acquisition, served as the parent company of Low Country Power, LLC.
Low Country Power, LLC is an Option 2 REP, limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service

WTG provided comprehensive midstream services including wellhead gathering, intra-basin transportation, and processing services. The company’s 6,000-mile pipeline network served areas in the Midland Basin including Martin, Howard, Upton, Reagan and Irion counties. At the time of the acquisition by Energy Transfer, WTG also operated eight processing plants with a total capacity of approximately 1.3 Bcf/d, with two new plants with an additional capacity of approximately 0.4 Bcf/d under construction at such time.
