Bank's Commodities Arm Relinquishes Texas REP Certificate

Merrill Lynch Commodities, Inc. (MLCI) applied to relinquish its Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate
Merrill Lynch Commodities stated, "MLCI does not do any business as a REP in Texas and does not provide any electric services to any customers under its REP certificate."
Merrill Lynch Commodities further stated, "it was determined that to date, Merrill Lynch Commodities, Inc. has never provided retail electric service to any end-use customers and does not require an Option 2 REP certificate."
