National Grid has filed with the Massachusetts DPU proposed new standard complete billing percentages (SCBPs), or purchase of receivables (POR) discount rates, proposed to be effective May 1, 2025

As filed in an explanatory letter, National Grid's proposed SCBPs for effect May 1, 2025 are as follows (current rates provided for comparison):

National Grid (MA) SCBPs
                 Current Proposed
Residential 2.99% 2.68%
Commercial 3.53% 3.39%
Industrial 0.35% 1.02%

For the industrial customer class, the increase is driven by increases in both the reconciliation factor and the uncollectibles component

For the proposed industrial POR discount of 1.02%, the reconciliation component is 0.37% (vs. 0.08% currently), and the uncollectibles component is 0.65% (vs. 0.27% currently)
