In a 10-K, AEP reported that AEP Energy had approximately 987,000 customer accounts as of December 31, 2024.
For comparison, AEP Energy had approximately 1,004,000 customer accounts as of June 30, 2024 (AEP's 10-Q for the period ending Sept. 30, 2024 did not include a customer count), and approximately 929,000 customer accounts as of December 31, 2023
