HB 2305 has been filed in the Texas legislature which would allow ERCOT to request information from LSEs concerning customer response to conservation appeals, and would require REPs to provide such information

The bill would mandate that ERCOT collect, by zip code, information concerning customer response to conservation appeals issued by ERCOT

ERCOT would be authorized to seek from REPs, the TDUs, and NOIEs information to comply with ERCOT's obligation to collect such information

The bill would require REPs et al. to provide ERCOT with the requested info, except that REPs would not be permitted to provide individual retail electric customer usage data or personal information as part of such submissions to ERCOT
