A small number of MidAmerican Energy Services, LLC's customers in Maryland won't be included in the previously reported assignment of MidAmerican Energy Services's retail electric customers to Constellation, as MidAmerican Energy Services cited a change in regulatory requirements

MidAmerican Energy Services stated that it has assigned to Constellation 1,324 large C&I customer accounts in Maryland

However, "[d]ue to a change in regulatory requirements implementing state legislation," MidAmerican Energy Services reported that 182 residential accounts affecting 35 customer agreements will not be assigned to Constellation, and currently remain under service with MidAmerican Energy Services

These 182 residential accounts will be returned to default service by February 28, 2025 to comply with updated regulations, MidAmerican Energy Services stated
