NRG Energy Relinquishing Various Redundant Retail Supplier Licenses

"As part of a routine review of its state retail energy supplier licenses, the following NRG Energy entities: Direct Energy Business, LLC, NRG Business Marketing LLC, Energy Plus Holdings LLC, and Independence Energy Group LLC (d/b/a Cirro Energy) will relinquish redundant retail licenses where the company is serving customers through other active licenses. This will involve filings across nearly a dozen states/jurisdictions. This has no impact on customers. NRG remains fully committed to delivering innovative solutions that help people, organizations, and businesses achieve their goals while also advocating for competitive energy markets and customer choice."
