In Maryland, Potomac Edison's residential Electric Supply Charge for the summer 2025 period is increasing 5%, as Potomac Edison filed new residential Electric Supply Charges for the periods beginning June 1, 2025, and also October 1, 2025

Specifically, for the period June 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025, Potomac Edison's Schedule R (residential) Electric Supply Charge will be 9.803 cents per kWh, about 5% higher than the current charge of 9.302 cents per kWh

Additionally, the October 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 Potomac Edison Schedule R (residential) Electric Supply Charge will be 9.806 cents per kWh

The Electric Supply Charge reflects the energy (supply) portion of SOS, but is not the full SOS rate. The full SOS rate also includes transmission and reconciliation
