PECO Small C&I Price to Compare Falling 13%

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning March 1, 2025
The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The PTC also includes the transmission charge. New PTCs for all classes have not yet been posted by PECO, but PA Power Switch had updated the PTCs for Rate R and Rate GS customers
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA effective March 1, 2025 will be $0.08381 per kWh, marginally lower than the current $0.08429 per kWh
Per PA Power Switch, the PECO Rate R Price to Compare will be $0.09239 per kWh effective March 1, 2025, marginally lower than the current PTC of $0.09287 per kWh
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective March 1, 2025 will be $0.07170 per kWh, about 14% lower than the current $0.08336 per kWh
Per PA Power Switch, the PECO Rate GS Price to Compare will be $0.07953 per kWh effective March 1, 2025, about 13% lower than the current PTC of $0.09119 per kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective March 1, 2025 will be $0.07048 per kWh, about 14% lower than the current $0.08194 per kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective March 1, 2025 will be $0.06757 per kWh, about 14% lower than the current $0.07859 per kWh
The new GSAs are to be effective March 1, 2025 through May 31, 2025. The rates remain subject to PUC approval
