Company Linked To Crypto Mining Developer Receives Texas REP Certificate

The Texas PUC granted Trinita Power Inc., a start-up, an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate
Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
As previously reported, a phone number listed in Trinita Power's REP application as being associated with Trinita Power has apparently been used in employment ads for a data center company, including in an ad posted on or about September 2024. Such employment ad suggests that the ad is from TDTC, which develops crytpo mining facilities. Additionally, Trinita Power Inc.'s address as listed in the REP application is the same address (including the same suite number) as used by TDTC
