Octopus Energy LLC has been placed under the leadership of Nick Chaset, Octopus Energy Group's Executive Vice President for North America
While Chaset had joined Octopus Energy earlier in 2024, Octopus Energy LLC was placed under the leadership of Chaset effective December 16th, 2024
Chaset previously served as CEO of opt-out governmental aggregation Ava Community Energy (f/k/a East Bay Community Energy)
Previously, Chaset served as Chief of Staff to Michael Picker, President of the California PUC, and has also served as a special advisor to Calif. Governor Jerry Brown, focused on distributed energy resources.
