Retail Supplier Offering Nuclear Power Plan Under Pilot

Constellation is offering a 100% nuclear power plan to residential electricity customers in the District of Columbia under a pilot program
Constellation is offering a 12-month fixed residential nuclear plan, which includes 100% Emission Free Energy Certificates, generated from Constellation's nuclear plants in PJM, at a rate of 11.99¢ per kWh. The plan includes a $75 gift card. The plan has an early termination fee of $150, but customers may cancel without incurring the termination fee if the plan is cancelled within 90 days after entering into the agreement
Washington, D.C. is the first pilot market for Constellation's new residential nuclear program, and Constellation plans to expand the pilot to additional markets in 2025.
Constellation described the new plan as, "America’s first-ever product allowing consumers to power their homes with 100% clean nuclear energy[.]"
