Utility's Mass Market Default Service Rates Falling 20%

Unitil has filed with the New Hampshire PUC proposed default service electric rates for the six-month period beginning February 1, 2025
For the Small Customer Group (Residential, Rate D) Unitil proposes a fixed default service rate of 8.616 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the period February 1, 2025, through July 31, 2025. That's 18% lower than the current rate of 10.506 cents per kWh
For G2 and OL (medium commercial) customers, the fixed default service rate is proposed to be 8.113 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the period February 1, 2025, through July 31, 2025. That's 19% lower than the current rate of 10.027 cents per kWh
All rates above include the RPS adder.
