Update #2 On Constellation's Acquisition Of MidAmerican Energy Services' Retail Electric Business

Constellation and MidAmerican Energy Services have filed a notice with the Maryland PSC concerning Constellation's previously reported acquisition of the retail electric business operated by MidAmerican Energy Services, which includes MidAmerican Energy Services's retail electric customers in all states
The notice filed with the Maryland PSC discloses the number of affected customer agreements, which is believed to refer to the number of affected customer agreements in Maryland, although the phrasing is imprecise.
The filing states as follows: "Pursuant to COMAR 20.53.07.12, please be advised that MidAmerican Energy Services, LLC ('MidAmerican') License No. IR-3548, and Constellation NewEnergy, Inc., License No, IR-522 ('Constellation'), have entered into an asset purchase agreement ('the Agreement') for the acquisition by Constellation of certain customer accounts of MidAmerican in the State of Maryland. Specifically, pursuant to the Agreement, MidAmerican will assign to Constellation approximately 302 customer agreements."
