Retail Supplier, Which Had Earlier Stated Intent To Cease Supply Service In State, Creates New Broker

Actual Energy Inc., a licensed retail electric supplier in certain jurisdictions which has focused on a model providing customers with wholesale market access, has created a new subsidiary, Actual Energy Advisors LLC, which has received, or is seeking, broker or similar licenses in various states
Actual Energy Advisors LLC has received a New York energy consultant registration, and has broker/aggregator or similar applications pending in New Hampshire and Maine
As previously reported, in Maine, retail supplier Actual Energy Inc. earlier this year informed the Maine PUC that, "Actual Energy will cease to serve consumers with electric supply during the 3rd quarter of 2024."
In New York, the new subsidiary Actual Energy Advisors LLC received an energy consultant registration to serve small commercial, large commercial, and industrial customers
In Maine, Actual Energy Advisors LLC applied for an aggregator/broker license to serve medium non-residential customers and large non-residential customers at the three investor-owned utilities
