New Prices To Compare Posted At PECO

New electricity Prices to Compare are now available at PECO after PECO filed an annual update to its bypassable transmission rate (TSC)
As previously reported, PECO filed new Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges in October, but the full PTC was not available at that time as the PTC also includes the Transmission Service Charge (TSC) which is typically updated annually on December 1 based on a November filing
PECO has now made the annual TSC filing, allowing new PTCs to be calculated
PECO's residential (R, RH) PTC effective December 1, 2024 is 9.273¢ per kWh, a de minimis increase versus the current PTC of 9.244¢ per kWh
Per PA Power Switch at the time of publication, PECO's General Service (GS) (at or under 100 kW) actual PTC effective December 1, 2024 is 9.105¢ per kWh, a marginal increase versus the current PTC of 9.013¢ per kWh
The new PTCs are to be in effect for the three-month period December 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025
