Connecticut Light & Power Mass Market Default Service Rates Increasing 25%

Connecticut Light & Power has filed Standard Service rates for the period January 2025 through June 2025, and Last Resort Service Rates for the period January 2025 through March 2025
The January 2025 through June 2025 CL&P (Eversource) residential (Rate 1) Standard Service rate will be 11.190¢/kWh, which is nearly 25% higher than the current rate of 8.995¢/kWh
The January 2025 rates, and all rates below, include the bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charge, which will be updated to -0.100¢/kWh effective with the January 2025 default service rates
The CL&P small C&I (Rate 30 & 35) Standard Service rate will be 10.710¢/kWh for January 2025 through June 2025, which is nearly 23% higher than the current rate of 8.726¢/kWh
