Retail Energy Vet Joins Leading Data Center Developer As SVP, Energy

Gene Alessandrini recently joined CyrusOne, a global data center developer and operator, as Senior Vice President, Energy
Alessandrini previously held a variety of positions at retail energy suppliers, including serving as Senior Vice President, PPL EnergyPlus
Alessandrini also held positions at Exelon Power Team and
Conectiv Energy Supply, including roles in origination, pricing, and structuring
Most recently, Alessandrini has held senior roles at renewables-focused generation developers, including serving as Chief Commercial Officer at TerraForm Power and as Regional Vice President at Brookfield Renewable
John Hatem, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at CyrusOne, said that Alessandrini, "will manage power supply including hedging, forward purchases, and carbon-neutral commitments, power deployment and work in conjunction with our site acquisition team to identify locations with available power capacity to meet ongoing customer demand."
"Gene will also play an instrumental role in developing, assessing, and implementing new serving arrangements to power our data center developments," Hatem said
