Texas PUC Conditionally Grants Retail Provider Certificate
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The Texas PUC conditionally granted an Option 2 retail electric provider certificate to MI Texas REP 4, LLC
Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
Under recent changes to the REP certification rules, Option 2 REPs are no longer required to provide such customer affidavits prior to certification, but must provide at least one eligible customer affidavit agreeing to service within 30 days of the REP certification being granted
MI Texas REP 4, LLC's Option 2 REP certificate is thus conditioned on MI Texas REP 4, LLC submitting, within 30 days, an affidavit from an eligible customer agreeing to take service from MI Texas REP 4, LLC
To the extent no such customer affidavits are filed, the REP application of MI Texas REP 4, LLC will be deemed denied with respect to each and every customer for whom an affidavit has not been filed
MI Texas REP 4, LLC is associated with Mothership, which, among other things, offers a white label REP service
