Retail Supplier To Transfer Customers Among Brands
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Energy Harbor, LLC will transfer its Maryland retail energy customers to various Vistra Energy brands
Energy Harbor electric customers in the BGE, Pepco, and Delmarva service areas will be transferred to Public Power & Utility of Maryland, LLC ("Public Power")
Energy Harbor natural gas customers (which are understood to be solely within in the BGE territory), and electric customers at Potomac Edison, will be transferred to Viridian
While not explicit in describing the filing as including all of Energy Harbor's Maryland customers, a customer notice letter states that Energy Harbor will no longer be supplying energy in Maryland, indicating that Energy Harbor will not have any Maryland retail customers after the transfer
The terms and conditions of the customer's contract will remain unchanged for the duration of the contract that is assigned
