Start-up, Associated With Investment Bank, Planning To Install Thousands Of "Nanogrids" Across Houston; Registers As Texas Electric Broker

1GridPower, LLC registered as a Texas retail electric broker

1GridPower has stated that it plans to develop a network of two-way energy storage nanogrids across Houston, with "thousands" of installations at homes and small businesses

The installations are to include battery systems of up to 80 kWh

1GridPower states that qualifying locations can receive an advanced battery system, "at reduced or no cost[.]".

Specifically, 1GridPower provides the following options for initial service levels:

• No-Cost: "Costless*" backup battery, only pay $100 deposit to cover permitting and installation. * "For eligible customers. Eligibility depends on current insurance provider or electricity provider, or employer sponsorship."

• ‍Host: $100 deposit; pay $100 per month and receive priority approval and installation.

•‍ Host+: $100 deposit; pay $300 per month and receive priority approval and installation, plus dedicated placement at the customer's residence. Receive a rebate of up to twice the monthly fee based on the customer's unit’s contribution to the grid.

•‍‍ NanoGrid Operator: $100 deposit; pay $100 per month, and receive priority approval and installation, plus the ability to monetize excess power from existing on-site generation such as solar or generator.** -- ** Only available for customers with existing on-site power generation.

While 1GridPower will initially launch in Houston, "we plan to expand our coverage to the rest of Texas and ultimately every area in the country with deregulated power markets," the company states

1GridPower lists its "associated entities" as including Entoro, which describes itself as a technology enabled investment bank, as well as other companies associated with Entoro, including Capturiant, which is described as a global environmental asset authenticator, registry, and regulated exchange; Greenshield Offsets which provides carbon offsets and related services; and 1transfer, which provides blockchain-related services

James C. Row is identified as CEO of 1GridPower, LLC. It is understood that this individual is the same James C. Row who was founder of, and serves as Managing Partner of, Entoro Capital. Row has held leadership positions at certain of Entoro's associated entities

John Terrill is listed as Head of Sales on 1GridPower's website. Terrill serves as Managing Director at Entoro and Managing Director of Business Development for Capturiant

Sam Stokes is listed as a Director of 1GridPower on the company's broker registration. William Baird is also listed as a Director of 1GridPower on the company's website. It is understood both individuals serve as directors at Entoro
