New Texas Broker Also Seeks Pennsylvania License

SmartSwitch Energy LLC, a newly formed company, applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas
Although SmartSwitch Energy LLC's Pennsylvania application did not specifically discuss the relationship among the companies, SmartSwitch Energy LLC's Pennsylvania application appended to the application the granted broker licenses and registrations of the entities Texas Energy Management Solutions LLC, in Texas, and Ohio Energy Management, LLC, in Ohio. In reference to these licenses, which were granted in the name of the distinct LLCs noted in the prior sentence, SmartSwitch Energy LLC's application states, "Copy of Texas and Ohio licenses enclosed."
While SmartSwitch Energy LLC itself did not describe any relationship among the companies, it is understood that each of the companies is organized as its own entity but shares certain common owners and/or principals
