The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Carnation Energy a retail natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas
Carnation Energy has stated that it will serve both C&I and residential customers with an initial focus on Enbridge Gas Ohio (f/k/a Dominion East Ohio), with plans to expand to Columbia Gas of Ohio in the future
Ohio is the first state in which Carnation Energy sought certification as a retail energy supplier. The company indicated that it would seek licenses in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Maryland as well
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Carnation Energy is led by Sean Clements who has experience across various energy industries, including E&P, midstream, and natural gas marketing, as principal and as a consultant through pre-acquisition financial forecasting; mergers, acquisitions and divestiture (M&A and A&D) transactions; in- and out-of-court restructurings, and other matters
