Mothballed Texas Unit To Be Decommissioned

ERCOT said in a market notice that, on July 19, 2024, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resource: NRG Texas Power LLC - TOSBATT_UNIT1
ERCOT stated that the NCGRD indicates that as of November 1, 2024, the Generation Resource, which is currently mothballed, will be decommissioned and retired permanently.
A 2023 Notification of Suspension of Operations for the unit had indicated that the Generation Resource had a Summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 2 MW and a Summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 0 MW
