The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The New York PSC said that it ordered six distributed energy resource (DER) providers to show cause, within 30 days, why their authorization to act as DER providers should not be revoked or why other consequences, as set forth in the PSC's Uniform Business Practices (UBP) for distributed energy resource (DER) suppliers, should not be imposed.
The Commission said that it initiated enforcement proceedings against the following companies: YSG Solar Installers, Y Energy Services, Premier Solar Solutions, Soltec America, Long Island Solar Solutions and Monolith Solar Associates.
The PSC alleged in a news release that, "Some examples of allegations include: failure to make required filings under the UBP such as annual compliance statements; failure to respond to notices of apparent violations; and failure to provide information requested by staff."
