Regulator Directs Retail Suppliers To Use New Chart In Disclosure Labels
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Retail electricity suppliers in Connecticut will need to update their disclosure labels under a ruling from the Connecticut PURA
PURA directed that, no later than August 19, 2024, retail suppliers should use a new emissions chart, labeled Table 2, provided by the state's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Bureau of Energy and Technology Policy (DEEP)
DEEP's new Table 2 is posted here (the entire filing is linked for context, Table 2 is in DEEP's attachment)
Furthermore, PURA directed that, going forward, retail suppliers shall update their disclosure labels with information from DEEP’s most recent GhG Report within two months of DEEP’s publishing of such report
PURA said that DEEP updated its GhG Report on June 18, 2024 and PURA's ruling provided this link to the DEEP GHG chart
