Retail Supplier Acquires Solar Projects In PJM, Targets $2 Billion Investment In U.S. Renewables

With the acquisition of two solar farms in PJM, Octopus Energy has made its first investment in U.S. renewables, as it targets investing $2 billion in U.S. renewable generation projects by 2030.
Octopus's newly acquired solar projects are located in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and have a combined capacity of 100 MW, the company said
Octopus Energy Generation acquired the two solar farms, Gaucho Solar (PA) and Nestlewood Solar (OH), on behalf of the Sky fund (ORI SCSp) it manages.
These two solar farms were acquired from Vesper Energy Development
Both solar farms have long-term energy supply deals in place, Octopus said
