Update: More Texas Market Vets Join New Retail Provider Entering ERCOT Market

NextVolt Texas, LLC, the new subsidiary of The Power One Energy Company (P1EC), has formally filed for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate and has disclosed that several more retail energy veterans are part of its team
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com earlier today, NextVolt Texas, LLC is a new retail supplier owned by P1EC, which currently operates in several Northeast retail electric markets under the brand ResCom Energy, LLC
As previously reported, P1EC named Richard Rathvon as CEO of P1EC. P1EC named Cullen Hay as President of ResCom Energy, LLC and NextVolt Texas, LLC. P1EC named David Draper as CFO of P1EC
Several other Texas market veterans have joined NextVolt Texas
Ryan Park has been named Vice President of Portfolio Management & Pricing for NextVolt Texas
Park, who has over 20 years of experience in retail energy in pricing, supply, structuring, and similar roles, previously served as Director of Retail Pricing, Structuring and Risk Analytics at Talen Energy and its predecessor. Among other roles, Park also previously served as Director of Energy Procurement at Enel X (f/k/a EnerNOC) and Director, Supply Team: Product Management at Xoom Energy
Meagan Eure has been named Vice President of Operations & Retention at NextVolt Texas. Eure has over a decade of experience in retail energy in various roles including marketing, retention, and customer experience, including VP of Retention at a retail supplier. Eure has held roles at Energy Harbor, Direct Energy, and Spark Energy
In its Texas REP application, NextVolt Texas indicated that it does not seek authorization to collect customer deposits or prepayments.
