The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The three entities MI Texas REP 3 LLC, MI Texas REP 4 LLC, and Mothership Texas REP 12 have each filed for a Texas retail electric provider certificate
As indicated by their executive leadership and contact details, including the listing of their web address as mothershipenergy.com, all three are associated with Mothership, which, among other things, offers a white label REP service
Per each entity's certificate of formation, MI TEXAS, LLC serves as a "governing person" for each of the entities
Each of the REP applicants lists Maura Yates as CEO and Calin Brammer as COO
MI Texas REP 3 LLC and MI Texas REP 4 LLC each sought an Option 1 REP certificate
Mothership Texas REP 12 sought an Option 2 REP certificate. Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
None of the REPs requested use of a trade name in their REP applications
MI Texas REP 3 LLC and MI Texas REP 4 LLC each sought authority to collect customer deposits and prepayments.
In each application, information (if required, Option 2 REPs are required to provide less information) concerning each REP's principals, prior industry experience and risk management, and subsidiaries, parents, and sister companies was filed under confidential seal
