Connecticut Light & Power Mass Market Default Service Rates Falling 40%

Connecticut Light & Power has filed Standard Service rates for the period July 2024 through December 2024, and Last Resort Service Rates for the period July 2024 through September 2024
The July 2024 through December 2024 CL&P (Eversource) residential (Rate 1) Standard Service rate will be 8.995¢/kWh, which is about 40% lower than the current rate of 14.714¢/kWh
The July 2024 rates, and all rates below, include the bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charge, which is listed as -0.120¢/kWh in CL&P's filing
The CL&P small C&I (Rate 30 & 35) Standard Service rate will be 8.726¢/kWh for July 2024 through December 2024, a 40% decrease from the current 14.954¢/kWh
