NSTAR Residential, Small C&I Default Service Rates Decreasing 12%-14%

NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service electricity rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning August 1, 2024
All prices below include the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative
Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard Adders
The filed new WMECO fixed residential basic service rate for the period August 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025, using currently effective adders, is 14.023¢/kWh, which is about 12% lower than the current rate of 15.810¢/kWh
The filed new WMECO fixed small C&I basic service rate for the period August 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025, using currently effective adders, is 13.982¢/kWh, which is about 14% lower than the current rate of 16.179¢/kWh
