Pepco Residential Default Service Rate To Increase About 12% In October

Pepco and Delmarva Power in Maryland have filed updated SOS rates for various customer classes and time periods
Pepco - Md.
Pepco filed new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period October 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025.
All rates in this story reflect only the generation service charge (or equivalent supply charge) and do not include bypassable transmission or reconciliation
For Schedule R residential customers, Pepco's October 1 SOS generation service charge is $0.10348 per kWh, or 12% higher than the forthcoming summer 2024 rate of $0.09262 per kWh (effective June 1, 2024). The June 1 rate reflects an update to the SOS Admin. charge which was also filed today
For Schedule GS Type I customers, Pepco's October 1 SOS generation service charge is $0.10217 per kWh, or about 10% higher than the forthcoming summer 2024 rate of $0.09321 per kWh (effective June 1, 2024). The June 1 rate reflects an update to the SOS Admin. charge which was also filed today
Delmarva - Md.
Delmarva filed new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period October 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025.
For Schedule R residential customers, Delmarva's October 1 SOS generation service charge is $0.099623 per kWh, or 3% higher than the forthcoming summer 2024 rate of $0.096514 per kWh (effective June 1, 2024). The June 1 rate reflects an update to the SOS Admin. charge which was also filed today
For Type I Small General Service (SGS-S) customers, Delmarva's October 1 SOS generation service charge is $0.099857 per kWh, or 3% higher than the forthcoming summer 2024 rate of $0.096748 per kWh (effective June 1, 2024). The June 1 rate reflects an update to the SOS Admin. charge which was also filed today
