Option 2 Texas Retail Provider Granted Change To Option 1 Status, Ability To Serve All Customers

The Texas PUC granted the application of Gridmatic Rosa LLC for an amendment to its Texas retail electric provider certificate to become an Option 1 REP, which enables Gridmatic Rosa to serve all customer classes
Previously, Gridmatic Rosa LLC was an Option 2 REP, limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
Gridmatic Rosa LLC also received approval to add the trade names Gridmatic Retail and Gridmatic Retail Energy to the certificate
As previously reported, Gridmatic last year announced the second closing of its first energy storage fund, bringing capital commitments to $50 million. The fund is earmarked to oversee the management of up to 500 MW of battery capacity in the ERCOT and CAISO markets.
