ConEd Posted Incorrect 12-Month Average Supply Rate, Which Is Used For ESCO Price Cap

In a January 23, 2024 filing with the New York PSC,
Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. said that its January 16, 2024, filing of its 12-month trailing average utility supply rates for January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023 had incorrect rates listed in four instances
Specifically, ConEd's January 16 report included incorrect average supply rates for the following electric rates:
• SC 1 Rate I, Zone I
• SC 1 Rate II, On Peak, Zone I
• SC 1 Rate III, On Peak, Zone I
• SC 1 Rate III, Off Peak, Zone I
ConEd's initially reported average rate for SC 1 Rate I, Zone I had been 7.499 cents per kWh, which is nearly two cents, or about 20 percent, lower than the correct average rate of 9.445 cents per kWh
