PUC Issues Draft Rule Changes Concerning Utility Exit From Merchant Function

Under a periodic rule review process, the PUC of Ohio has posted draft changes to Ohio Adm.Code Chapter 4901:1-19, relating to, among other things, exit-the-merchant function plans for natural gas utilities, and similar exemptions and alternative rate plans
The only changes proposed in the draft are non-substantive and address typographical, clarity, or similar issues
However, parties may use the rulemaking to seek desired policies via the public comment process
