Compass Global, Inc. d/b/a Optiwatt, which provides, among other services, an app that schedules and manages the charging of electric vehicles for residential and commercial & fleet customers, registered as a Texas electricity broker

Optiwatt says that it helps customers save by automatically scheduling the customer's EV to charge when rates are cheapest.

The app touts, "real-time smart charging synced to your energy rate," including rate tracking and forecasting

Optiwatt is also said to offer services beyond EV charging management: "Reduce costs further by tracking your home meter and connecting your smart thermostat".

Optiwatt Home offers, "real-time home energy costs synced to your smart thermostat usage."

Optiwatt Home, "analyzes your home and local weather to enable smarter savings," the company says

Optiwatt Home, "integrates with your exact utility rates to show you what you will spend or save, every time you turn the dial."

For both the EV and Home app, Optiwatt directs users to log-into their utility (provider) account as part of the integration
