Option 2 Texas Retail Provider Seeks Option 1 Status, Ability To Serve All Customers

Gridmatic Rosa LLC applied for an amendment to its Texas retail electric provider certificate to become an Option 1 REP, which would enable it to serve all customer classes
Currently, Gridmatic Rosa LLC is an Option 2 REP, limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
Gridmatic Rosa LLC also filed to add the trade names Gridmatic Retail and Gridmatic Retail Energy to the certificate
As previously reported, Gridmatic recently announced the second closing of its first energy storage fund, bringing capital commitments to $50 million. The fund is earmarked to oversee the management of up to 500 MW of battery capacity in the ERCOT and CAISO markets.
