Constellation Acquires Retail Energy Customer Book

In a filing with the Maryland PSC, Energo Power & Gas LLC f/k/a Marathon Power stated, "Energo Power & Gas LLC (Energo or the Transferring EGS) has entered into an Asset
Purchase Agreement to transfer all of Energo's active electric accounts to Constellation
NewEnergy Inc (Constellation or the Receiving EGS), effective on approximately the first
complete billing cycle on or after January 1st 2024."
"While Energo is transferring all of its active electric accounts to Constellation and will
have no remaining electric customers after the transfer date, Energo intends to maintain its
Maryland license at this time," Energo stated in the Maryland filing
While EnergyChoiceMatters.com could not confirm as of publication time if the Asset
Purchase Agreement includes all of Energo's electricity accounts in all markets, it is believed that the transfer includes, at a minimum, electricity accounts in multiple states
It is understood that the acquisition does not include any of Energo's retail natural gas supply accounts
In a notice to electric customers, Energo stated, "Energo remains committed to its natural gas and petroleum business, and we look forward to continuing to
supply all your needs in that regard."
There will be no change in the price, terms or conditions of service as set forth in the electric customers' contract with Energo
as a result of the transfer
