Through a subsidiary, Cheniere has acquired from NRG Energy the Gregory Power Station, located near Corpus Christi, Texas in the AEP Central service area in ERCOT
On a Texas PUC power generation company form, the plant is described as a 365 MW natural gas (combined cycle) power plant
Specifically, the Gregory Power Station's immediate owner, Gregory Power Partners LLC, underwent a change in control to execute the transaction
Prior to October 2, 2023, Gregory Power Partners LLC was a direct wholly owned subsidiary of NRG
Texas Gregory LLC. As a result of a transaction consummated on October 2, 2023,
Gregory Power Partners LLC is now a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Gregory Power Holdings, LLC, which is ultimately a unit of Cheniere
