Reliant Announces New Choose to Give Charitable Affinity Program For Texas Customers

Reliant announced a new Choose to Give affinity donation program for Texas retail electric customers
When customers enroll in a Choose to Give plan, Reliant will make a $100 contribution up front to their chosen nonprofit. In addition, Reliant will donate to the nonprofit an amount equal to 5 percent of the customer’s annual energy charges
Reliant's retail affiliates have offered similar programs outside of Texas. Reliant has also offered differently structured charitable affinity donation plans previously in Texas
The latest program launched with two Choose to Give plans, benefiting the following organizations: American Heart Association & March of Dimes
Reliant has an established relationship with these two organizations, giving more than $2 million previously through legacy programs.
Reliant has plans to expand the list of partner organizations benefiting from the Choose to Give program. In 2024, customers will have the opportunity to provide recommendations for organizations they would like to see added to the Choose to Give program.
