ERCOT Proposes Increase In System Administration Fee

ERCOT formally filed at the Texas PUC a 2024/2025 ERCOT biennial budget
which contemplates a change in the ERCOT system administration fee rate,
which ERCOT proposes to increase for the first time since 2016, from $0.555 per megawatt hour
(MWh) to $0.710 per MWh for ERCOT fiscal years 2024 and 2025.
ERCOT proposes that the increase be effective
January 1, 2024, "with the intention that the new rate will remain in effect through 2027," ERCOT said
