Texas Retail Provider Seeks To Use New Trade Name
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Quext Energy, LLC applied for an amended Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate to add the trade name Abundance Energy to the certificate
Additionally, Marilee Stewart, with an email address with the domain name of Energywell, is now publicly listed as the Regulatory Representative Contact and Complaint Representative Contact on the Quext REP certificate. Portions of Quext's original application were filed under seal in its original REP application in 2022, so it is unclear if Quext previously had any vendor or service relationship with Energywell, but Quext has not previously listed an Energywell contact as its publicly listed Regulatory & Complaint Representative Contact. Stewart serves as Senior Vice President Operations, Customer Experience & Regulatory at Energywell, a retail energy holding company which owns certain retail providers in addition to providing other retail energy services
As previously reported, Thomas Mandry is the owner of Quext Energy and is sole director, officer, or principal listed on the REP amendment application
As previously reported, Mandry is a partner at Quext, a multi-family property management service provider and platform, which offers smart apartment technology and multifamily solutions including multifamily property management software to IoT technology. Quext has also been described as offering a cloud-based apartment community nerve center
