PECO Residential Generation Rate Falling 7%

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the three-month period beginning September 1, 2023
The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The PTC also includes the transmission charge; new PTCs have not yet been posted
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA effective September 1, 2023 will be $0.08753 per kWh, 7% lower than the current $0.09393 per kWh
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1, 2023 will be $0.08857, versus the current $0.08784 per kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1, 2023 will be $0.08704 per kWh, versus the current $0.08632 per kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1, 2023 will be $0.08348 per kWh, versus the current $0.08279 per kWh
The new GSAs are to be effective September 1, 2023 through November 30, 2023. The rates remain subject to PUC approval
