OnPoint Energy Texas, LLC, the new retail energy supplier formed by ArcLight Capital Partners (see original story below) has filed for a Texas retail electric provider certificate, providing more information concerning the new ArcLight REP

OnPoint applied for an Option 1 Texas REP certificate

OnPoint's application also provides more information on its leadership in addition to those individuals noted in our original story below

David Draper is listed as VP, Finance for OnPoint Energy Texas in OnPoint's REP application

David Roylance is listed as "Officer" at OnPoint Energy Texas in OnPoint's REP application

Jeff Anon is listed as "Officer" at OnPoint Energy Texas in OnPoint's REP application

In its REP application, OnPoint did not apply for the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers

ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC ("ArcLight") announced the formation of OnPoint Energy, LLC ("OnPoint"), described as, "a newly formed retail electric provider, focused on residential, commercial and industrial retail electricity solutions initially serving the ERCOT market."

Retail market vet Cullen Hay serves as OnPoint's Chief Executive Officer. Hay most recently served as EVP at Diamond Retail Energy Home and was also CEO and Founder of FairfieldEnergy. Hay also previously served as General Manager, US Energy at Direct Energy, and has held senior positions at several other retail suppliers

"ArcLight is excited to partner with the OnPoint team to enter the retail market," said Carter Ward, Partner at ArcLight. "As one of the largest power generators in North America, the launch of this platform is an important step in maximizing the value of our fleet. ArcLight has committed $50 million to retail initiatives and look to expand into additional competitive markets in the coming year."

Retail market vet Ryan Park has the title of Senior Director at OnPoint. Park most recently served as Director, Pricing at Diamond Retail Energy and also previously served as Director, Supply Team: Product Management at XOOM Energy. Park has held senior pricing roles at several other retail suppliers
