Staff of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio have filed a formal report of their investigation into XOOM Energy Ohio, LLC’s compliance with enrollment and other retail energy rules

The Staff report provides more specific details concerning the alleged behavior, which had been detailed in our prior story

XOOM Energy provided the following statement concerning the matter:

"XOOM Energy has fully cooperated over the past year with PUCO Staff on this matter. XOOM followed all applicable regulations to enroll customers over the internet. We look forward to a swift resolution and remain focused on serving customers in the best way possible."
