In announcing that its Greener Life natural gas carbon neutrality program reached a program milestone of 100 million pounds of carbon emissions offsets, Georgia Natural Gas (GNG) announced that it has over 18,000 customers who chose Greener Life

Greener Life, which offsets 100% of the customer's natural gas usage, is $4.99 per month for residential customers and $9.99 per month for small business customers on GNG's standard price plans. Qualified new customers can get the first six months free

Specifically, the aggregate pounds of carbon emissions offsets for the period from 9/29/19 through 05/01/22 is 108,112,507 pounds of CO2e, which equals the removal or capture of 49,039 metric tons of Co2e from the atmosphere, and equals 49,039 total carbon offsets retired on behalf of GNG customers, GNG said
