MI Texas REP 1, LLC applied for an amended Texas retail electric provider certificate to add two new trade names

MI Texas REP 1 is ultimately a part of the Mothership Incubator, which, as exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (see full background here), offers a service under which it, "will operate an Option1 [sic] REP licensed in ERCOT on your behalf for your customers, offering a true white labeled REP that you control." (note, since our original linked reporting from Aug. 2021, Mothership Energy Group is said to be no longer affiliated with Mothership Incubator)

MI Texas REP 1, LLC seeks to add the trade names "Flagship Power" and "Juice" to its REP certificate.

MI Texas REP 1, LLC also seeks to add the trade name "Mothership" while removing the existing assumed name of "Mothership Incubator".

MI Texas REP 1, LLC's existing trade name, Abacus Energy Retail Electricity (under which it currently offers service), would remain on the REP certificate.
