The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Ammper Power, LLC an option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate

Ammper describes itself as a Mexican diversified energy provider

In Mexico, Ammper supplies electricity to Qualified Users, i.e. users with a contracted demand greater than 1 MW.

Ammper also represents generators and qualified market participants within the Mexican wholesale electricity market and provides physical control services to loads and power plants.

Ammper also installs and finances on-site generation projects and provides advice on natural gas purchases.

In an amended REP application, Ammper Power did not apply for the option of collecting customer deposits or residential advance payments.
