A new NRG subsidiary, NRG Controllable Load Services LLC, applied for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate

The entity was created in November 2021

NRG Controllable Load Services LLC did not seek authority to use any assumed names as part of its REP application.

According to the REP application, Scott B. Hart serves as President of NRG Controllable Load Services LLC. Hart also serves as Vice President / General Manager, NRG Business - Texas and has also previously been identified by NRG as VP of NRG Business Sales in Texas

In the REP application, NRG Controllable Load Services LLC did not apply for the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers
